Greenwich Research and Innovation (GRI) is the University of Greenwich’s central hub for supporting research and knowledge exchange. It drives the University’s Strategy 2030 through the Research and Knowledge Exchange sub-strategy, helping to deliver excellence in research, innovation, and postgraduate satisfaction. GRI plays a key role in supporting submissions to the REF, KEF, and TEF, and works closely with Research Centres and their members through every stage of the project cycle — from finding funding and ensuring research ethics to building partnerships, exchanging knowledge, and increasing impact.
Getting to any of our campuses is easy, thanks to excellent transport links. We also offer dedicated university bus services connecting all three campuses. Travel between Greenwich and Avery Hill is free, while a small fee applies for the regular coach service between Medway and the London campuses.
